Leapfrog Leappad Explorer

As you know, there are a large collection of games, books and learning activities to purchase for the LeapPad Explorer, but here is just a short listing and description of the games that actually come with it. Keep in mind, you can also purchase any game that was created for the less expensive Leapster Explorer as well and it will work perfectly fine.

Here are a list of games included with the LeapFrog LeapPad Explorer:

1. Art Studio:
   This is probably my son’s favorite game. The kids can use various shapes, brushes, erasers etc. to create their artwork and express their unlimited creativity. I wish I had something like this when I was a kid!
2. Story Studio:
   The children can create their own books using photos, drawings, and recordings that they create themselves. They can also share the books they make with others using email or facebook.
3. PetPad:
   Its basically like a neopets thing where you learn to take care of pets, feed them and ensure they are healthy. They can purchase food and do all sorts of other stuff with it. My daughter seems to enjoy this one a lot!
4. Camera/Video Recorder:
   The camera is definitely very low resolution, this is the one downside. I dont know if the kids will be able to notice it but I certainly can and it kid of bothers me. Its okay though you can’t really expect too much for such a great all round product.

Overall the LeapPad Explorer by LeapFrog is definitely a worthwhile investment for your child’s creativity and expression. I highly reccomend it to all the parents out there! Learn More 

LeapPad Explorer Is an iPad for Kids

We have already deduced that The LeapPad explorer is a great learning tablet for kids. I am speaking from experience because my kids simply love the product. Leapfrog has been a specialist in creating amazing toys that stimulate childrens’ learning. Before I bought this product my kids would not leave my ipad alone. I think it was just something about the crisp graphics and the tactile response that made the tablet so attractive to young children. This is LeapFrog’s wonderful response to the iPad hogging children. I’m dead serious, my children would cry if I tried to pry the iPad away. Any other parents face the same problem? I knew I had to find an alternative to this and I looked everywhere until I found the LeapPad Explorer. It truly is an iPad for kids!

 I’ll tell you right off the bat, this is a great product, so this may be a biased leappad review. It may be called the explorer but I call it the Leapfrog learning computer. It is a basically a leap frog book with pen included. I have two small kids and they are head over heels for this thing! I recently purchased the LeapFrog LeapPad for my daughter’s birthday. The first time I opened the package I was surprised at how nice and big the screen is. Yes, it is touch screen but you can use the stylus that comes in the package. I purchased the pink one for my daughter but I have since gone on to get a green leapfrog leappad book for my son as well. It has a camera, and microphone that can be used to take a whole lot of pictures or apparently 120 hours of video, which is pretty nice!
